Bradford runs borough-wide Festival for ninth year

Bradford families will enjoy 100 special activities for the 2016 Family Learning Festival. The Festival is delivered by a unique partnership of Bradford organisations including the City of Bradford Metropolitan Council, National Media Museum, Bradford Libraries, Museum snd Galleries, and the National Trust at East Riddlesden Hall.

The theme for Bradford's Festival is 'All About Me' and families will have a chance to learn more about themselves by focusing on what makes them unique and special.

Impressions Gallery’s 'Planet ME' will feature a digitally interactive storytelling workshop, where families will tell their stories by being creative and using cut outs and collage. At the City Library, participants will create glass paint selfies. At the National Media Museum's families will enjoy the Expression Lab with Aardman - creators of Wallace and Grommit - and colour eye tests and rainbow glasses at the Colour Experience.

Thousands of families are expected to take part in the Festival, which has grown year on year for the last nine years.
